Tracey's cob cottage had been cement rendered and masonry painted in the early sixties removing all the character of the property and more importantly not allowing the cob to breathe. We removed all the render around the entire cottage, then re-render with a 3.5 mix of lime mortar, restoring the original curves and then limewashed with a traditional colour.
